Art. Virtual Tours of Museums and Art Exhibitions (With Virtual Travel, Live Streams & Parties, and Online Courses)

The best thing we need to do right now to overcome Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is to stay at home on worldwide quarantine. This means that the world will go digital as this is the only way to escape and fight with the situation we have. So, Keep Calm and Stay Home! Art and science became friendlier and open their virtual doors and offer free virtual tours for different exhibitions, and free online courses.
I believe that our mental (in the case of art, soul) well-being is as crucial as physical. We should be aware, condole victims but fight pandemic with an open and positive mind. It doesn’t mean close your eyes and gets into other reality, but be positive whatever happens and focus on solving not suffering.

Digitalization of Art

At the beginning of this “fabulous” 2020, I planned to write a post about the Future of Art predicting digitalization of art, VR and AR exhibitions, and so on. But, now it doesn’t make any sense to write the post about the Future of Art, as the future of art is already our present. Just in few days after worldwide quarantine art world moved to the digital world. We have live streams from Opera houses and virtual art exhibitions.

By the way, this and last year I’ve been to four outstanding exhibitions. First, in Paris in Ateliers des Lumiers and its digital exhibitions, AR and VR/AR exhibitions in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and Silent party (in earphones) the same in Kharkiv.

L’ Atelier des Lumieres, Paris. Van Gogh movie. #vangoghart

Paris exhibition is a good place to see your favourite artists from different sides, as the exhibition include music, pictures, and movies. VR exhibition I like the most, and it is the future of art. Just imagine you have VR glasses and can travel and visit events together with other people from the comfort of your home right now. This what we wish we had during #stayhome movement. I could paint and walk through my paintings, I could travel and visit different places, I could walk in the universe and art objects created by artists. VR is the future of Art. AR was worthier.

You just install the app and look at illustrations on the pictures on the wall. The silent party was very practical. All participants were wearing earphones with music, and no people around hear any sound. So you can have such parties from anywhere, event at your house.

The future of Art is here, in our hands, literally. We can visit museums and exhibitions on our phone.
