September is a new start after summer and offers us a great choice of events. Following my previous monthly updates on art and cultural events, and Art Calendar 2018, here is an Art Calendar for September.
1.Cosmoscow – Moscow, Russia
6-9 September
Cosmoscow represents an international fair and annual contemporary art festival taking place in Moscow. Believe me, in the country of Kandinsky and Malevich such contemporary art fair will bring you the opportunity to see over 200 artists, and all that Russian avant-garde we adore.
2. Festival N6 – Portmeirion, United Kingdom
When musicians, artists and fertile imaginations are given the run of a model Welsh seaside village, you get the surrealism of Festival Number 6.
This festival is held on the coast of Wales in a small and fascinating village. The festival is young but represents a set of music, great line-up, arts, and other performances. You will get the surrealistic inspiration and beautiful nature in one place.
3.HORST Arts & Music Festival & Expo 2018 – Holsbeek, Belgium
7 September – 28 October
Taking place in a mysterious and magic the Horst Castle in Belgium, the festival will blow your mind with its music line-up and art visuals created by the top European architects and designers.
4.Berlin Art Week – Berlin, Germany
26-30 September
During this contemporary art fair taking place in Berlin, the main focus relies on the art fairs art berlin and Positions Berlin Art Fair, as this year both fairs represent their galleries in the hangars of the former Tempelhof Airport. Photography is introduced with the EMOP Opening Days of EMOP Berlin — European Month of Photography 2018 at C/O Berlin.
5.Swap Barcelona Art Fair – Barcelona, Spain
27 – 30 September
Another must-see international art fair, taking place in the artists paradise Barcelona. This year, Swab Barcelona celebrates its 11th edition, from 27th to 30th September, welcoming around 60 galleries from 5 continents.
Stay tuned if you want to know more about upcoming art and cultural events!
