Fashion brands, from luxe to mass market collaborate with artists and museums. Art influences fashion the same as fashion is reflected in arts. Louis Vuitton recreated its shop into modern art explosion collaborating with contemporary artists, Uniqlo collaborated with Boston Fine Arts Museum to promote Japanese arts, Zara always has some ‘art memes’ t-shirts in its collections. And now, Pull&Bear represented its incredible art collection but the slogan ‘Art is for everyone’.
Pull&Bear Art Collection; ‘Clothing Inspired by Modern Art’
Pull&Bear has launched a limited collaboration with the National Gallery and famous modern art mogul Tate Modern Gallery London. This mass-market brand is famous for its amazing t-shirts, but this time they exceeded all expectations by representing new campaign dedicated to modern art that includes t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, denim, and accessories.
This collection has such artists as Mondrian, Kandinsky, El Lissitzkysi and Kazimir Malevich, alongside as with the works of romantic masters such as J. M. W. Turner, William Blake, William Waterhouse, George Stubbs and Sir John Everett Millais. The collection is also made with strict sustainability criteria.
I also purchased Turner’s hoodie and can say that the quality of the hoodie is of very high quality, and affordable price (around 50$).
Pull&Bear art collection is a perfect example of how art can flow into fashion.
Such collaborations inspired me to create ART SHOP like T.Art.S, where fashion meets art not only in limited collaborations.
