Many tourists usually prefer visiting Prague, Krakow, or other European cities to get that Gothic mood. But what if you open a new place that already has all of that, and even more (and the prices are far cheaper). Eastern European Lviv is located in the Western part of Ukraine. This city was part of the Russian Empire, USSR, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Poland, so this city is the combination of the best from different cultures.

Following previous posts about Eastern Europe like Top Events You Need To Party On! and Atlas Weekend Festival, here some great pieces of Lviv.

Starting from the famous  Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet and its central part that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Lviv is full of details, you will see it on the street, whether this is an abstract Malevich sign or romantic and picturesque wall on the street.

Eastern European Lviv is multicultural and very friendly towards different cultures. So, Fandango Flamenco Festival is the celebration of Spanish culture and dance in the part of Ukraine. Just straight away in the central cafe, dancers and singers perform in front of the tourists.

Eastern European Lviv is full of music sounds, whether there is a folk band or opera singers.

But, first of all, Lviv is about food, drinks and cafes. This is a perfect place for pub crawl, marcha or whatever you call it in your country. Lviv beers have the same fame in Ukraine as beer in Prague. Coffee is the tastiest in the world, in my opinion. Food mostly Ukrainian, but you may find lots of European restaurants. I am not going to sign the places I’ve been to. I need one more article for this. Just enjoy photo selection from those ones I found by walking around the central part.
